Why A Personalized Wedding Favor?

To give your wedding guests something a little difference on your big day why don’t you give them a personalized wedding favor which can be a more permanent reminder of your special day. Unlike so many other wedding favors that are presented, these are meant to be something that will always remain a reminder of their wedding day and will not just fade as many do over the years.

However, couples who opt to distribute a personalized wedding favor will know their guests simply have to look at the gift to remember who gave it to them. It is surprising how the memory works and even little details like the bride and grooms name plus the place and date they were married can bring the whole day back to the person who was given the personalized wedding favor.

To avoid disappointment it is always preferable to decide what your personalized wedding favors are going to be and then placing the order for them as soon as possible, as this allows for errors with the processing which often happen. Sometimes it is possible to use a supplier who has a ready made stock of favors that can be customized without to much trouble but that does not mean he will not be carrying out this self same service for many other weddings close to when yours is arranged so place the order early. Some companies are able to complete rush order much quicker but this will almost certainly incur a heft surcharge which may make the wedding favors financially prohibitive. Remember when you are discussing what to put on your personalized wedding gift, each word will cost and you are free to say what you like but you will need to put the name of the bride, groom, the date and possibly the location. This can be done on items ranging from candy wrappers to pictures frames and fortune cookies to candle holders, however, including the names of the bride and the groom and the date of the wedding is not the only way to personalize a wedding favor.

While edible wedding favors are very popular, they obviously don’t have the long lasting effect of personalized favors but can still be very effective if you want to have your image printed on a cookie for example. Most modern bakeries can take a digital photo or even a can and print them onto the face of a cookie without too much trouble.

If you really want to finish the effect then why not have the bakery also print your names on the cookie as well as the wedding cake picture. If you want to give your guests an edible wedding favor but want them to keep something as well; have the outer wrapping or ribbon printed with details of the wedding instead. If you decide to have a personalized ribbon, keep it plain as it is more effective and to help the person who is wrapping the wedding favors, have the ribbon pre-cut.
